In World War II the Glider Pilot Wing were awarded to pilots who had 3 hours Glider time, landed 10 times and passed a flight test. The wing was established on Sept 4,1942. This is a very well made sterling silver museum quality reproduction of a Britsh wing that is 3 3/16 inches wide with standard British pin back. The only hallmark on this wing is sterling.
