WWI the Aero squadons painted their DI on the side of their aicraft and the piltos wore the sqaudron pin on their uniform. These pins are extremely rare. I recently started selling many French and the 93 rd Aero pin. I am very happy to now have the 94th Aero Squadron also know as the Hat in the Ring which was Eddie Rickenbacker's squadron.
