This is a reproduction of a rare prototype wing made by AMCIO that with time became an offical Air Force wing. During the Vietnam era Air Force Aircraft started doing mission where they had non-rated officers on board USAF aircraft in various functions. These Officers started to take Pilto wings and solder an eagle over the shied to make them different from Aircrew wings. During that tme period AMICO made this prototype wing but it took until recently for the wing to become official. The continued growth of Command and Control Aircraft resulted in this new wing. A rare wing for any collection.
