About the Children's Miracle Network":
The Children's Miracle Network began as a national television special in Canada to raise money for children's hospitals in 1983. This national not-for-profit organization is committed to generating funds and awareness programs for the benefit of the millions of children treated each year by their member children's hospitals/foundations

Air Canada raises money for this charity through the "Every Bit Counts" Program. Foreign currency is collected on all international flights and converted into Canadian currency. One hundred per cent of the money they collect on these flights is then donated to the Children's Miracle Network. Air Canada also provides numerous free flight passes to the Alberta Children's Hospital each year.
