Each and every of these limited edition are personally signed on a mini nose art pannel by navigator Major Dutch VanKirk & Weapon Test officer Lt. Morris Jeppson. The B-29 Enola Gay is a Superfortress bomber flown by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) which dropped the ����_Little Boy����_ atomic bomb in Hiroshima, Japan on the 6th of August 1945.
On the 6th of August 1945, the Enola Gay got twelve flight crews. This flight crews are Colonel Paul W. Tibbets, Jr., the aircraft commander; Captain Robert Lewis, the co-pilot; Major Thomas Ferebee, the bombardier; Captain Theodore Van Kirk, the navigator; Lt. Jacob Beser, radar countermeasures and the only man who flew on both nuclear bombing aircraft; and Captain William Sterling Parsons known as Deak by the United States Navy, the weaponeer and bomb commander.
Theodore Van Kirk nicknamed Dutch was a United States Army Air Corps navigator. He became famous for his profession as the navigator of the Enola Gay when they attacked Hiroshima and dropped the first atomic bomb there.
Morris Richard Jeppson was a World War II Second Lieutenant for Army Air Corps. He was the assistant of Captain Sterling as a weaponeer of the Enola Gay when they attacked Hiroshima. His role was to remove those safety plugs from the weapon before it reaches the target area.
