Outclassed by the latest fighters from Japan at the onset of WW II, the P-40 Warhawk was all the United States had available for defense in the China, Burma and India theaters. Even though it was less maneuverable than the Japanese Zero and Oscar fighter, when flown in the hands of a capable pilot using the proper tactics, the Warhawk became a fine fighting machine. Our print depicts two of the P-40E version of the fighter in the Flying Tiger markings used by the 23rd Fighter Group making a low pass over a quaint riverside village somewhere in Burma.

Mark Karvon images are printed on Epson Somerset Velvet Fine Art Paper using Epson Ultrachrome professional archival inks. Paper is acid free, 100% cotton, archival quality.

Note the images shown may contain a copyright or watermark. This is not present on the actual print.

Prints are signed by the artist and feature an extra 1" border to allow for matting and framing.
